‘Local Talent Spotlight: Champion Boxer Nancy Shepherd Punching Above Her Weight

At KD Traffic, we’re proud to champion local talent and there’s no one more deserving of the spotlight than Nancy Shepherd, a rising star in the boxing world and a force to be reckoned with.

Based out of Kent Gloves Boxing Club in Gillingham, Nancy has already carved out an extraordinary path for herself in the sport. At just a young age, she’s already a five-time national champion, collecting titles and accolades year after year since she was 11.

Her honours speak volumes:
5× National Champion
2× NABCS Champion
2× Haringey Champion, including Best Boxer of the Tournament
22× BoxCup Champion, across both national and international competitions

But her success doesn’t stop at home. Nancy has also represented her country on the international stage, bringing home gold medals from prestigious tournaments in Sweden, Ireland, Latvia, and Portugal. It’s a track record that would make any athlete proud and she’s only just getting started.

This year marks an exciting new chapter, with Nancy set to compete in major championships including England vs. Wales and England vs. Scotland. Even more impressively, she’s been shortlisted for the Commonwealth Games, a huge step in her boxing journey and a testament to her incredible dedication.

What sets Nancy apart isn’t just her skill in the ring, but her determination, discipline, and sheer love for the sport. Her achievements are the result of years of hard work, countless hours in the gym, and unwavering focus.

At KD Traffic, we know what it means to build something from the ground up and fight for excellence, so supporting and celebrating athletes like Nancy is a natural fit for us. She represents everything we admire: grit, consistency, and a relentless drive to succeed.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on her journey and cheering her on every step of the way. The future is bright for Nancy Shepherd — and trust us, this is just the beginning.
